Google has come up with 'Street View Mapping Service' making you feel as if you are walking down the streets on UK. This service will be extremely beneficial in the property world. In the areas where street view is available, one can access street- level imagery by zooming into lowest level of Google Map. It works in the 40 cities where Google has supplied images for its Street View service.

Street View will help rebuild the property market as prospective buyers will be able to view the area and exterior of houses from the comfort of their own homes. With the current slump in the UK property market, any new application such as Street View is likely to be warmly received by estate agents. This service offers wonderful extension to view property for sale or rent to the buyers or sellers in Real estate industry. Now the view of property is not only restricted to the photos presented by the agents but the enquirer can now see the context of neighbourhood on either side and across the street. This experience will enable more comprehensive evaluations to be undertaken in the process of property purchasing.

Street View is now available in: London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Bradford, Cambridge, Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Oxford, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Bristol, Coventry, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Swansea, York, Newcastle, Dundee, Southampton, Norwich, Scunthorpe.

Street View is available via Google Maps, as well as through Google Earth and via Google Maps for Mobile. To access it using Google Maps, zoom as far as you can to street level on a map of a featured city. Grab the little orange "Pegman" icon and hover it over the map; included streets will turn blue. Drop the man icon onto the street you want to see, and the map will flip to Street View.
